A couple of weeks ago I wrote an article on the importance of authenticity. The more authentic you are, the more likely you are to succeed. While this might sound simple enough, it’s one of the hardest lessons in life to learn. To know yourself, you have to be honest with yourself.

We all lie to ourselves every day. We lie about how good we look, how smart we are, or even who we are. If you don’t know who you are, no one else will know either.

It’s hard to know who you are when there are so many people trying to tell you who they think you are.
